The Table Bay Hotels status as ‘Best Address in the Cape’ can be attributed not only to it’s incredible location and the number of awards that have been achieved, but also to a great team effort from all members of staff who interact with our guests to make their experience unforgettable. To all the staff who have been involved in these achievements – Congratulations!

2002 – Platinum Award at the World Quality Summit Awards in New York after taking Gold the previous year. The award recognises corporate achievement, leadership, innovation, quality and excellence.

2002 – Table Bay Hotel was named joint winner by Professional Management Review (PMR) for the Best City Conference and Banqueting Venue in South Africa.

2002 – Condé Nast Traveler Magazine – Atlantic Restaurant amongst the World’s Top 50 New Restaurants – after relaunch of the restaurant.

2002 – Conde Nast Traveler (USA) voted Table Bay Hotel as the best hotel in Africa and the Middle East, and 4^{th in the world rankings.}

2003 – Condé Nast Traveler (USA), included the hotel in their Gold List of Top Properties in the World. The Table Bay was the only hotel in Africa which appeared in the top three positions of the five categories – ie. Location, Design, Room Standard, Service and Quality of Food.

SAGA 2005/2006 Travellers World Brochure – Top Extension Award and two rosette Good Food Awards. These awards are compiled from customer’s feedback and are presented for excellent standards of restaurant service, quality and variety of food.

2005 and 2006 – Travel + Leisure magazine’s – top 500 List of the Greatest Hotels and Resorts of the World.
